In the project’s introductory text, the organizers consider that the triangle “art, work, and ideal” encompasses the artistic gesture that “defines the fabulous complexity of the relationship with the world and the insatiable need that the artist has to question, measure, and invent it.” The aim of this collection is to investigate this creative universe.
Launched in 2019, the bilingual series features exclusive interviews, critical texts, and a selection of works by Brazilian artists, dedicating its first volume to the engraver Evandro Carlos Jardim, followed by Anna Bella Geiger, Gabriel Abrantes, and Ester Grispum, among others.
