Published in 2020 by Barléu Edições, the book “Art in Brazil in the 19th Century” fills a gap in the historiography of visual arts in Brazil. With texts by Alberto Martin Chillón and Roberto Conduru and design by Rico Lins + Studio, the publication brings together a large selection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, photography and architecture from the period.
