Afluentes
Our participation in COP30 in Belém took the form of designing an exhibition that celebrates the Amazon Fund’s activities through the project ‘Afluentes: paths and history of the Amazon Fund.’ This web series, created by Monica Rodrigues and Gabriel Hoewell alongside BNDES, highlights the peoples and knowledge of each of the Amazonian states.

The central graphic element of the initiative, the project’s logo — originally created using AI-generated lettering that simulated those painted on boats — was redone by hand for the exhibition by Joeldem dos Santos, a local sign painter who inspired the textures and patterns used throughout the show. Attracting over 30,000 visitors during the conference, the extensive collection of photos and videos presented in the exhibition was generated by the Afluentes project.
The exhibition was subsequently restaged in an expanded version at the National Library of Brasília and redesigned for the Blue Earth Forum at London Climate Action Week.
