This perception highlighted the need to reposition the Orchestra\u2019s communication so as to reinforce those qualities to the public, including listeners, sponsors and the Orchestra itself. Rico Lins +Studio was responsible for all aspects\u00a0of the Orchestra\u2019s communications project, including naming, branding, visual identity, uniforms, advertisements and other promotional materials for concerts, subscriptions, etc. For the series “Jazz Orchestra+guests”, in addition to a new logo, +Studio developed a concert program which reversed to a poster.<\/p>\n

The resulting series of posters, developed between 2006 and 2007, was printed digitally in large format and led to exhibitions which, at the end of each season, celebrated and consolidated the work of the Orchestra for that year.<\/p>\n

The poster project opened at the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) in Sa\u0303o Paulo and then went on tour throughout Brazil, incorporating the posters of new performances as they happened and coming to a close in Havana, Cuba, with all 27 of the posters that had been created.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
