The Xilograffiti project debuted at Sesc Consola\u00e7\u00e3o in S\u00e3o Paulo, later traveling to Araraquara and Mogi das Cruzes. Dedicated to the diverse forms of urban art and their production methods, it is a dynamic project that, in addition to bringing together works by artists from different origins and regions of Brazil, encourages public participation, providing access to various graphic equipment and free workshops taught by the exhibitors. Encompassing different techniques and languages, it presents everything from woodcuts to stamps, from experimental typography to cordel literature, from graffiti to stencils\u2014and the countless creative combinations between them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Conceived by Baixo Ribeiro, the project involved Rico Lins in graphic design, visual identity, and the creation of works included in the exhibition, as well as in a series of graphic workshops on aspects of the central theme: printing, word, image, and scale. +Studio was also responsible for creating the reproduction matrices printed by the various graphic devices, developed by the El\u00e1stica studio, for experimentation by the visiting public.<\/span><\/p>\n

Versatile, the Xilograffiti project established a customized dialogue with the units and cities in which it was presented. In Araraquara, for example, the architecture of the Sesc unit allowed for the creation of a large-scale mobile occupying the central exhibition area with elements of the visual identity. Furthermore, the project facilitated a series of activities such as a graphic workshop for the collective creation of a series of billboards distributed throughout the city.<\/span><\/p>\n
