Rico Lins + Studio was responsible for designing the graphic material for the multimedia show which premiered at the Munich Biennale on May 08 2010.
Adding drama, music, audiovisual elements, technology and science, the opera, divided into three acts, met since 2006 efforts of numerous artists and cultural performers from both countries – Brazil and Germany – to speak of the extraordinary natural riches of the region and threatening situation of the world’s largest rainforest. Uniting talent and great power of awareness, assembly intends, within contemporary artistic vision, strengthen the discussion on the future of the Amazon within the international arena.
A show of great synergy of ideas and artistic concepts, the opera brings a star the big green giant voice that wins, not just within bold artistic concept, but also from observations mindful of German and Brazilian scientists, and the precious culture of the people Yanomami, one of the last primitive inhabitants of the region.
